These 17 women will be on a 12-month leadership journey connecting, amplifying, and building the LEAP Leaders network of women of color in the anti-violence against women field. Their experience as a LEAP Fellow not only lifts them up, but also the communities they serve.

In recognizing the leadership challenges women of color face in the anti-violence against women field, California Coalition Against Sexual Assault (CALCASA) in partnership with Women of Color, Inc. (WOCN, Inc.) responded with the LEAP project. LEAP is a strategic project developed for the purpose of overcoming barriers experienced by women of color in accessing and maintaining executive and/or leadership positions within the anti-violence against women field.

Cohort 3 will become part of the network of 36 LEAP Leaders who have completed the LEAP Program. This growing network of LEAP fellows lifts up communities and individuals through skills building, mentoring, and building their capacities to be the leader they are searching for.

Please join us in welcoming the new LEAP Cohort 3 Fellows. We are looking forward to being with them on their leadership journey.
